• Challenge
The challenge
Expansive halls, interconnected spaces and exceptionally large architectural openings required compartmentation without compromising architectural openness. The solution had to protect large openings, integrate with the fire alarm system, and accommodate curtain dimensions far beyond a standard doorway.
• Solution
Our approach
Window Techs / BÖLDT delivered automatic smoke curtains and fixed fire curtains tailored by zone. Automatic systems were integrated with the fire alarm system and commissioned through integrated performance testing covering activation, backup operation, emergency override and audio-visual alarms.
