• Challenge
The challenge
Open, high-ceilinged corner conference rooms connect to the building core. Each room had its own geometry, and every passive fire element required formal client sign-off on a project of national visibility.
• Solution
Our approach
Approximately 30 fire curtains (FC-01 through FC-07 by core) with AutoCAD drawings approved opening by opening. Technical package included a Neco test certificate, EN 15269-11 EXAP and EN 1634-1 test report, followed by method statements and inspection reports on site.
Why curtains, not walls
Fire curtains keep conference openings fully usable during normal operation, then deploy automatically to close each room off from the core without permanent walls that would compromise the space as a flexible meeting room.
