The challenge
A working hospital cannot rely on rapid total evacuation. Curtains had to integrate into finished clinical spaces without disrupting operations, including a 5,800 mm Ground Floor span alongside smaller openings.
• Solution
Our approach
Fixed fire curtains engineered to each opening, housed in pelmets within the false ceiling. Shop drawings and CAD were architect-approved before manufacture.
Defend in place
Specified to EN 1634-1 (120 minutes integrity at 1000°C), BS 476-22.8 and BS 7346-3, with ISO 9001:2015 manufacturing. CE marking and Declaration of Performance available on request.
